Payments Officer (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Monitor and process daily customer fiat and cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals accurately and efficiently
  
• Ensure the timely execution of payment flows across banking partners, Payment Service Providers, and blockchain networks
  
• Set up and maintain banking and payment details across internal systems and platforms
  
• Perform regular payment and account reconciliations to ensure transactions are accurately recorded
  
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, failed transactions, and settlement issues
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all payment activities
  
• Act as a primary point of contact for banking partners and Payment Service Providers
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external payment partners
  
• Follow up proactively on operational issues, service improvements, and transaction delays
  
• Support the onboarding and integration of new banking partners and Payment Service Providers
  
• Liaise with the Trading Department to coordinate settlements with Liquidity Providers before and after trade execution
  
• Collaborate with Compliance and Finance teams on transaction queries, reporting, and operational requirements
  
• Assist with the development and documentation of payment and operational procedures
  
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving payment efficiency, scalability, and reliability
  
• Stay informed about relevant industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies within payments and digital assets

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in payments, operations, or a similar role
  
• Previous experience within fintech, financial services, gaming, or cryptocurrency environments would
• be considered an asset
  
• Strong understanding of payment processing systems, Payment Service Providers, banking operations, and reconciliation processes
  
• Basic understanding of cryptocurrency, with an interest in developing further knowledge
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different departments
  
• Proficiency in operational tools and systems used for payments and reconciliations
  
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required
