Junior Tax Accountant (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Prepare income tax computations, returns, refund claims, and related documentation
  
  
  
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings in line with regulations
  
  
  
• Support clients on tax compliance matters across various industries
  
  
  
• Assist the tax team with transactions and provide compliance guidance
  
  
  
• Stay updated on Maltese tax legislation and apply changes accordingly
  
  
  
• Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients
  
  
  
• Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work environment

Requirements

• ACCA qualified or in progress (or equivalent)
  
  
  
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting role (tax experience is an asset)
  
  
  
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  
  
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy
  
  
  
• Proactive, motivated, and committed to professional development
  
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
