General Instructor (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Deliver training, coaching, mentoring and supervision
  
• Create a safe, inclusive and collaborative learning environment
  
• Oversee the operational and administrative aspects of training courses
  
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System
  
• Monitor students’ safety, discipline and correct use of PPE
  
• Support course planning, development and facility maintenance
  
• Prepare training areas and ensure equipment is operational
  
• Follow relevant risk assessments and safety procedures
  
• Assist with the daily operation of the training facility
  
• Deliver client-specific and off-site training when required
  
• Perform other duties related to the role

Requirements

• Experience in a training environment, preferably within a Fire and Rescue Service or fire training establishment
  
• Relevant training, education, health and safety, or technical qualifications
  
• Knowledge of safety equipment, inspections and maintenance
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessments
  
• Strong organisational, analytical and attention-to-detail skills
  
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  
• Flexibility to deliver training at different locations
